Happy Hump day readers!!
Last month our friends Amy and Ryan asked us to coordinate a housewarming party at their new BEAUTIFUL home while also celebrating Ryan's big 30th Birthday!! We were so thrilled and honored that they asked us! Amy and I spent some time dreaming up the perfect theme; a theme that everyone could get excited about! So when Ryan's love of golf was mentioned, we knew we had it! Amy really wanted all guests to wear silly golf attire, which as you can see by the pictures below, everyone obliged!
While discussing decor, both Amy and I wanted a sophisticated golf theme throughout the home as to not detract from the gorgeous interior design. We used burlap fabric as table runners and accents in addition to iron like golf statues throughout the home. AJ's Urban Petals created a large beautiful centerpiece using white tulips and greenery with an insert of grass, golf ball and tee. Golf Balls placed in vases of different sizes and shapes were scattered about the home. Amy's neighborhood friends drove and parked their golf carts in front the house, which was a fun addition to the outdoor decor!
City Shakers were hired on to handle the bar, serving our two specialty cocktails, the Drunken Arnold Palmer and the Monster Drive Mojito as well as summer appropriate white wines.
The guests enjoyed heavy hors’ devours supplied by Hungry's Catering. We used menu card for each of the golf themed dishes including, the Sand Trap Skewers, Augusta Artichoke Dip, Hole-in-One crab cakes (which they were!!), Bogie Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, and Masters Meat Balls. Dream Cakes Inc in the Woodlands made the most delicious Golf Ball themed cake pops. Lemon Cake with White Chocolate on the outside! Yum!
Hope you all enjoy the pics from Last Night Pics!! Have a great day! :)
