Meet the Coordinators!

Kristi Varela: Owner, Head Coordinator. Kristi has 9 years experience in event planning. Following college, Kristi began her career at a Houston PR firm, assisting in the production and execution of various galas such as the American Heart Association Gala  "Heart Ball", Houston Astros Wives Gala, the Sunshine Kids Gala, and Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) Gala. She also assisted in a number of restaurant openings throughout the Houston area. Outside of work, Kristi enjoys giving back to the Houston community. In 2009 she co-chaired the Northwest Houston Heart Ball, raising $500k for the American Heart Association. Kristi is a graduate from Texas State University with a degree in English. Kristi loves the work she does with event planning and the relationships she gains with her clients. 

 

Kara DiCarlo: Assistant coordinator/ Marketing strategist. Kara has 16 years experience in sales and marketing working in the wine and spirits industry as well as the executive recruiting industry. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree from the McCombs school of Business. While Kara is at the helm of our business she also assists the coordinators on the day of the events. Kara is a wonderful wife and mother to her three precious children
